From one small town in Punjab to four states — the story of how Satyam Industry became a name farmers and dealers trust.
Founded and led by Sh. Satpal Garg, Proprietor
Twenty-five years ago, in the small town of Lehra Dhurkot in Punjab's Bathinda district, Sh. Satpal Garg set out to solve a problem every dairy farmer around him understood too well — feed that promised good yield but rarely delivered it.
Markets at the time were crowded with mixes cut with fillers, sold by people who had never spent a morning with cattle themselves. Farmers had no real way to know what they were paying for until the milk pail told them the truth — and too often, that truth was disappointing.
He started small — mixing feed carefully, testing it on his own animals before selling a single bag to anyone else. There was no advertising budget, no marketing campaign. Word travelled the way it does in farming communities: one farmer telling another that his cattle's milk had gone up, and stayed up.
That kind of trust can't be bought — it has to be earned bag by bag, season after season. As the reputation grew, so did the reach. What began as a one-town operation slowly expanded into a business trusted by dealers and farmers across Punjab, and eventually into Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.
Along the way, Satyam Industry became fully FSSAI licensed and GST registered — not because the law demanded it, but because trust, once earned, has to be protected properly. Today, alongside the flagship SIR 222 cattle feed, the family's commitment to quality also carries through into Shree Ghee Makhan and Shree Shudh Makhan, made with the same standard of honesty.
Twenty-five years later, the promise hasn't changed: feed that does what it says, from people who still stand behind every bag.
Feed mixed and tested by hand, batch by batch, sold on nothing but word of mouth in and around Lehra Dhurkot.
Consistent quality brought the first dealers on board, and Satyam Industry's name began to travel across Punjab.
Reach extended into Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh — without cutting a single corner on quality.
Full regulatory compliance, so that every farmer and dealer could verify the business independently.
Satyam Industry continues to serve farmers and dealers with SIR 222, Shree Ghee Makhan, and Shree Shudh Makhan.
No fillers, no shortcuts. What's written on the bag is what's inside it.
Twenty-five years of the same standard, batch after batch — not just when someone is watching.
Every decision gets tested against one question: does this actually help the animal and the farmer?
